i <3 you all.
so there is moses jesus and this old guy playing golf. moses gets up first he hits the ball it lands in water so he walks over parts the water and hits the ball into the hole. next jesus is up he hits the ball it lands in the water then he walks on the water and hits the ball into the hole. next the old guy is up he hits the ball it lands in the water a frog eats the ball then a bird swoops down and takes the frog the bird drops the frog on the green the frog jumps over and spits the ball into the hole. after this happens moses leans over to jesus and says i hate playing games with your dad. hahah
this week has been really good. it was way different since last week we had a different schedule and emailed on tuesday instead of monday it through eveerything else off and made the week feel very different. it was still really good.
so we are teacching this lady named christina and her 13 year old brother mike. they are both super cool. christina was taught about a year ago but her friends gave her a lot of crap for it so she wuit meeting with the missionaries but now she says she doesnt care what anyone thinks. she is so willing to learn she loves to just soak in everything we tell her. when we get in with her the lessons are so great, the only hard thing is actaully getting in with her. she works so much and so anytime she gets off she is doing something to catch up with home life. so its very tough to get in with her but she has set aside time to meet with us we just got to be able to help her because the devil is doing all he can to keep us from meeting with her but it hasnt worked yet and wont. her brother mike is way cool he is a beast. way good at football and he is probably the most ripped 13 year old i have seen. he actually invited himself to chuirch this week and to mutual. both of them are so ready for the gospel.
so our ward has a bunch of people from haiti and so because of that we have like a little french speaking branch. and as the missionaries in the ward whenever missionaries find people to teach that speak french we are assigned to go teach them. this week we had a french speaking guy we went and taught with a member that actually speaks french and it was way weird we went and said a prayer with him and then the member taught the entire lesson in french to this guy because he didnt understand english very well. so we sat there and just listened to the beautiful french language.
super excited for the ward halloween party on friday there should be a lot of people for us to meet there and hopefully teach not to mention elder potter(elder aubrey) and elder Malfoy(me) will be casting spells all night long.
