This week was so great.

So a few weeks ago we had a recent convert lady bring her fiancé to church with her. And she is new to the ward so we went up and talked to them and her fiancé is not a member but has been investigating the church for a very long time on his own, and he told us that he is ready to take a step forward. so we met with him this last week finally and we went to go and teach him but it was different because he actually ended up teaching us the restoration and so we invited him to be baptized and he said there is no time like the present. It was an experience like none other. Ha-ha

We went and taught this lesson to a family we are teaching and we brought this guy that just got home from his mission in SLC. It was a way powerful lesson. He showed me that I suck at teaching. Ha-ha he was a really good teacher. He knew what he was doing. Ha-ha I learned a lot. He set us up so perfect for the invitations that we wanted to extend to them. He would set us up and we would invite and they always said yes. It was such a cool experience. We rolled off of each other perfectly and the spirit was a clearly there and the investigators felt it as well. It was a break through. We have had trouble helping them out but this lesson was perfect and what they needed.

We had district meeting yesterday and there is a sister in our district who is done with her mission and goes home tomorrow actually so we had a funeral service for her as district meeting. Ha-ha it was hilarious. Everyone wore black and one of the elders gave a training on the plan of salvation and related it to the mission life and dying and going to the afterlife of the real world. Then the elders got together and sang god be with you tile we meet again and the song from remember the titans "nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, hey, hey, hey, Goodbye" it was fun. It was kind of mean but she was a good sport about it. And we all had a great time.

I love you all so much hope you have a wonderful week.

Well it is now settled I have an extreme addiction to zaxbys. I cannot stop eating there its so dang good and it calls my name whenever I am hungry. I have even began to dream about it. I think I need to talk to my bishop..... Ahhaaha

This week we had a super cool experience. We were out tracting yesterday in fact. We only had a short time before we had to be somewhere. So we prayed to tract this street the night before, and we showed up to tract it. There were only a few house at the beginning of the road and none of them answered. then it turned into a bunch of empty housing plots but we could see roof tops over the trees so we walked to the end of the road and there was this random few houses at the very end so we began knocking. The first house we knocked on this guy Chris came to the door. We told him we were missionaries sent here from god to share a message with him that would change his life. He was freaked out and began to tell us about how many trials he was going through. He asked us to come back on Wednesday and made sure we had his number and then he asked us what time and where our church was. And then he said that he will go to church with us next week. We were not expecting it and it was so great to witness such and amazing miracle. Chris kept saying this is weird that I am going through all of this and then you knock on my door it is so weird. Way cool for us though.

Watch this video and apply it in your own lives. It is amazing! What will you give? And how will you embark?

I love you all so much! Hope all is well.

Well holy smokes happy New Year everyone!!

This week was one of the best weeks we have had in the longest time. We got down to work. So this week we met with our investigator Bucky. He has been some real tough times and we had a really powerful lesson with him on the plan of salvation and gods awareness for all of us. The spirit was strong you could reach out and just cut it with a knife. We taught the lesson and then we invited him to be baptized as well. He was teary eyed and smiled and said yes. He had been waiting for us to ask. It’s been so cool to see the change that has come upon him. He used to just sit and listen quietly whenever we would come over but now he is all smiles and talks to us and is engaged and happy in what we are talking about. It’s been so great.

Yesterday at church we had a member come to church and she brought her boyfriend to church and he had a worn book of Mormon in his hand. We got talking with him and come to find out he has been investigating the church for a while now on his own. And so asked us to come by his home this week and begin teaching him the lessons. We asked him what he wanted to gain from meeting with us, and he looked at his girlfriend and said I want the glow and spirit that she has, and that everyone here at church has. There is something in my life that is missing and I believe this is the it is." yeah I had no clue what to say but almighty then we will be at your house on Tuesday then. I am so pumped.

We were out tracting and on this one road we had 2 or 3 house each tell us that we should not go to the house that was at the end of the road because it was really sketchy and not safe. So of course naturally we had to go down and knocked on the door. And this nice guy named Donnie came out. You could tell there might have been some things going on. But he was so nice and he actually asked us for a pamphlet. We were able to share the book of Mormon with him and he wanted his kids to hear about it and we gave him some things for his kids to read. We are also going back to just check in on him here and there to help them out at all. It was cool. He was way nice and probably the only one on the street that would benefit and actually listen to us, and Satan was really working hard to keep us from him.

I love yall too much. It is sad to hear that the Steelers lost but let’s not dwell on the past because next year when I play quarterback for them I am going to restore them back to their former glory as champions.

Have a great week. Mind your P's and Q's!

well the time in roswell has been great. but its time to have me go the way of the mission and move on. i am getting transferred this week. as always so sad to say goodbye to all the friends i have come love so much. but as alwasy i am way excited for what lies in store for me. i am gettign transferred to the hickory flat ward. i am way excited i have heard wonderful things about that ward. my new companion is elder fox he is still a new missionary he has only been out 3 months so it will be a fun time of good hard work. i am pretty excited.

this last week we had the ward halloween party and it was way fun. we went as harry potter and draco malfoy. needless too say we were a hit. it was pretty fun. it was so cool because one of our investigators neicy was able to come to the party and the ward welcomed her so well. they made her feel so wanted and loved and i dont think she felt too awkward and out of place. which was a worry for us. but one of the members took her right when she showed up and took her around and introduced her to everyone and got her food. it was great. she loved it.

i love you all.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
I hope yall have some good plans for thanksgiving. its a great time of the year. especially to really see all the wonderful things that we have been blessed with and can be greatfull for. with this week being thanksgiving its a good time to reflect. so i want to extend an opportunity for all yall. this week make it a point in all your prayers to express all your thanks, by not asking for anything for an entire week but only giving prayers of thanks. this is a cool experience. ive done it and it is really cool. we are able to see how much we truly have been blessed with. we see all that our loving heavenly father has given us, and in turn we are able to feel his love more in our lives. we recognize more and more each day the things that he does for us and all the happiness that he brings into our lives. we are able to see he is there and he does know each and everyone of us. its a wonderful thing to do and i hope yall try it and feel the love.

so this week we went and met with our investigator Richard. he is way nice old man who has been reading the book of Mormon and gainng a testimony of it pretty uick so we went over to his house and was having a very powerful lesson on baptism and were just about to extend the invitation to him to be baptized and literally seconds before we were going to invite him his daughter in law walked in and she just came out and was asking us what was the difference between our church and hers. and so we told her about the book of Mormon and prophets and authority. and she slowly got super interested. then she kept asking questions and each question she asked would lead us into the next part of the restoration message. until we had taught her the entire restoration without even knowing. and she gladly accepted a book of Mormon and now we are teaching both Richard and his daughter in law Ashley and they are coming to church next week. such a miracle!!
elder fox and i thought that she was going to bash and ruin the spirit that was in the room but it ended up being a great thing.

so we get to play in the turkey bowl that the ward is having on thanksgiving day. that should be a blast. i better come ready to play because i have called out a couple youngmen in the ward and i told them if my team wins then they have to come out and go tracting with us. luckily if i lose there is nothing i have to do. but it would be way fun to take them out tracting with us. lets just say we are not going to lose.

love you all hope you have a great week. And have a happy thanksgiving.
