To randy mountainBonniegrandpa kent and 13 More...
boy we have been busy. we were on exchanges pretty much the entire week. i love exchanges its liek the prime time to witness miracles. and we saw a few.
well elder castro one of the missionaries serving in the portugese branch came to my area with me and we had a blast. hes a convert of less than two years from brazil and he straight up taught me so dang much. he has a huge tesitmony and just helped me realize how special even the littlest of things are. he has such an enthusiasum for the gospel and its contagious. its wonderful to just talkk to him. well while we were busy tearing it up tracting we knocked on this guys door named carlos garcia when we first met him we were shocked at how prepared he really was. he had all the golden questions that every missionary wants to be asked and so we were so excited when he told us to come back. as we went back and were teaching him we came to find out that he had been taught by missionaries before and that explains why he knew so much. i guess before when he was being taught he just wasnt ready but as of now he is ready and wants to learn and progress in the gospel. super pumped to see where he goes. god is preparign people that is for dang sure.
we went and saw gloria this week who is a recent convert in the ward and she has luekemia and had to go to new york but got sent back because she got really sick. she has such a kind heart and cant come to church becuase the kids and she cant risk getting sick right now and so we go over and tell her what was talked about at church. she loves it. but the best part is the young men. we take a couple young men with us to give her the sacrament and she cries and loves it everytime. it was really cool too because the youngmen were not to happy that they had to do it after church rather than going home but they did it and she like was crying and bore her testimony to them about how greatful she is and how important the sacrament is and their responsibiility in bringing it. she was so greatful for them coming the spirit was so strong and when we left those boyus had an entire different outlo0ok on why they were there. it was so great.
Elder hales goes home next week. sad day. there are a lot of missionaries that are going home next week that are some of my best friends. missionaries that i have looked up too and now they are all leaving.. sad day.
i love you all. be safe. remember who you are.
