well to start things off we have a new mission president. our previous one president wolfert went home on saturday and president benion is here now. i am sad to see president wolfert leave but super pumped to meet elder benion and see whwt he will bring to the mission. we get to meet him on wednesday he is coming and we are having a firseide like thing with him to kind of show himself off to us.
well we had transfers this last week i am serving in the rosewell ward. i really love the ward. they make me feel at home. the people here are way cool and seem like a lot of fun and are so willing to help us out i am way excited to see how this transfer is going to go. Elder Hales my new comp is so cool. he is from central utah a big boy hes way big into baseball and football. and its funny he wants to go into electrical when he gets home so we have a lot in common with eachother. i love him already we have a lot of fun and get a lot work done. very hard worker so i am loving it. he goes home in 6 weeks at the end of this transfer so i got to keep him going hard.
this last week we were teaching this guy named chet and he is way cool adn as we have taught him his girlfriend has been tthere but she doesnt really listen she just is off doing her own thing. but we found out that she really hs been listening after all. she told us how she had been reading the book of mormon and she got to this part where she just couldnt put it down. so while she was driving home she was reading it (not safe at all). anyway she ended up getting lost and she had no clue where she was at. ans as she drove down this road she almost turned around a couple times but something just told her not to turn around and as she kept going and then she came to a road and just got a feeling to take the next left so she did and when she took the next left she turned right into the temple. she said she realized it and jsut started to cry. she knew the lord was aware of here and he loved her and the lord led her there. needless to say she is so down to hear the lessons now and has been sitting in on the lesson with us and actaully participating. so fetching cool.
