So Elder Aubrey and i are trying this new tracting method that has been proven to work 100% of the time all of the time. so what we do is each night as we plan for the day we plan the times we are gong to tract but we dont choose the exact place and when we get done planning the rest fo our day we neel down and say personal prayers asking for inspiration forgivness and help in this work. then after those we say another comp prayer together asking for simailar things when that is done one of us will go up to a map of our area and he will read off 15 street names that stick out to him and the other one will write them all down and then we each get a seperate peice of paper and on those ones we will write down five street names from the list of 15 that we feel good about and then we will compare our two lists of 5 streets and there are always a couple that are the same and so those are the streets we go and tract. its awesome because the lord is preparing people each day and he helps guide us to them as we seek to find them and follow his promptings. so i know he leads us to them as we obey and listen.

so we have put this to the test this last week and each day we go and tract the streets that we have found and when we do we meet people that are so prepared. its honestly insane because we will talk to these people and really i come to know that they are the ones that we were sent there to find. its a great confirmation. we have found some of the best people ever this week. people that have been praying for a change and for help from god and then the next day we knock on their door. things happen that are only labelled as miracles from god. its real. i love it.

it has been a very great week. i have been blessed. we were out this week and we had like 10 minutes before we had to get to dinner so we decided to sstop and tract where we had planned too and we both were feeling towards the end of the road so we went to the end of the road and knocked one door and no one answered then we knocked the next one and thsi nice older guy answered the door and at first he wasnt to interested but then as we talked with him his wife pulled up and she was asking us questins and turns out that she used to know some members of the church and she has always wanted to learn more and she is so interetsted. we just happened to knock on the door on the only good time we were there at the perfect time and it was a great mitracle that we were able to meet them. i count myself lucky to be able to witness it. really though i have met a lot of people this week who have known members of the chhurch and it really hit me even more how much of an example that we are even when we may think that no one is looking everyone is looking at watching so just remember to be the person that god wwants us to be and who know s your example may change someones life for the good or bad that s your choice.

so there was this cool memorial baseball park in our area and they ahve all these different planes and tanks and guns from the different wars throughout history it was way cool. many many memorials for those who have fought for us.

well Elder hales has left me to the land of the lost. but luckily i have a good testimony of the plan of salvation and i know that i will see him again. Elder Aubrey is here with me and he is such a cool missionary. he is so funny and like there is never a dull moment with him. he makes everything so much fun. and boy has he already taught me a butt load of great things.

so this last week we had a week full of meetings it was a long week as it is when you are stuck in meeting all day long. but i learned so much and more importantly i felt the spirit pretty dang strong. we were able to learn a lot fo cool ways to help the zone that we are way excited to use.

President benion is doing amazing things with this mission. its crazy how he sees so many little things that make such a huge difference in the progress of this mission.

willthings are going good we are doing all we can to find some work for us and having some more success still just waiting to see if these people are going to be solid or not. there are a lot that have some great potental. our entire zone pretty much changed on us so weve been running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to get to know everyone and get them settled in and down to work super hard!! its a blast though! wish i had more but i am trying to see miracles having the faith that the lord will bless us with them.

so this week one of teh days on the way home from one of our meetings the GPS took us home a diffefrent way and on our way home we drove right by the temple. it was so dang awesome. got to see the temple and it made me so happy. it was crazy how great it made me feel jsut seeing it i cant even imagine how great it would be to be able to go into it. i cant wait for that day again.

sorry its so short. we have some great people this week that look so promising we are praying that good things will come. it will be good to have a good full week of missionary work. because last week was full of meetings and before that it waas just running around while elder hales said goodbye and got ready. so i cant wait for this week. good things are instore.

things are going great as always but how could they not be when you are serving the lord. i was reading this week in the book of mormon and i was reading about charity and i was thinking that that should be somehting one of the biggest things that all of us should strive to have. charity never faileth. as we strive for charity we gain that pure love of christ. we gain a love for those around us and are more prone to be able to feel that love expressed through us to others and from others to us. go out and look for opportunites to serve someone. the lord will bless you in your lives and will bless the lives of others through you. as you do you will feel a portion of the love that our savior has for each and everyone of us.

i was able to go on exchange with elder ontiveros thsi week and it was a good exchange. we were talking about how it had been really hard the past few days to get any investigators and both of us were maybe a little bit getting down but we decided to start talking more posoitve and once we started to do that we both felt way better and the next two people we talked with on the street were so elect and ready to hear the gospel. they invited us over and you could just tell that truly were searching for something. we are going to teach them this week. its great when the lord strengthens your faith through a trail and you are able to see him bless you as well, it makes it so much easier to go forward knowing that you can trust him in everything.

we were able to meet with our investigator carlos garcia this week as well and it was a very much needed lesson. we brought a member of the ward which was good they hit it off and got a long well. we found out that he had been taught a lot by missionaries before so we went in and established why were there and our purpose. it went so good. in the past he has been worried about not knowing enough but we told him that after we taught the 5 lessons he would know all he needed to make this step so this next week we are going to use a baptismal calender with him and try to help him progress the best we can so he can truly be ready.

we had a lesson with this guy named tim. a guy we tracted into last week and we were able to go back and teach him this week. it was way cool becuase as we were teaching him his wife wasnt too interested but like she wants him to go to church and have a faith in christ and he hasnt been doing that so she is supportive of him and as we taught him his wife went and got her journal and brought it down and started to read the journal entry that she wrote the night that we knocked on their door. and she had like written down exact words that we said and was quoting us and things and she wrote about how the spirit touched her and what she felt it was so powerful. the thing is she was like teaching and saying all this to her husband so that he would listen to us. it was crazy and amazing all at the same time. the lesson went great and we are meeting with them again on tuesday. cant wait!

I am getting a new companion on wednesday his name is elder aubery i am way excited. i know who he is but i dont know much about him at all. hes been out 3 months longer than me and i have heard he is such a cool guy. i have heard nothing but good things about him so i am way excited for what lies in store for this next transfer. it is defianlty a sad day because elder hales will be going home. no beuno. he is a cool guy and i am going to miss him a lot.

there are some great missionaries coming to roswell and things are going to explode i think. so pumped to see it. i love you all so dang much. stay classsy! be safe remember who are and mind your Ps and Qs. hahaah love you.

ps we got bored this morning and one of the tongan elders gave me a tattoo.. dollar store tattoos and a pen. the things that missionaries doo... dont ask.
