How goes it loved ones?

This week has been just dandy. It started off so wonderfully on Wednesday elder kapishke of the first quorum of the seventy came and spoke to us at zone conference. That was way cool even though we were all hoping for iPad they never came. Nonetheless it was so great to spend some time with him and to hear him speak he is such a cool guy. He had a lot of things to say that really helped me. One thing he had us all do is before the meeting even started he had each of us write down a question. something that we wanted to know it could have been any question about anything he just wanted us to have one and then he said that today he wanted us to listen and to get the answer to our question. And it didn’t even have to be a gospel related question or anything. and then he told us that every time we go to church or sit down to study the scriptures or watch conference always go into them with a question in mind and then he said that it will almost always be answered if you have one. and it’s so true I did it then and ever since then every morning in my personal study and when I went to church and each time my question has been answered. So there is an experiment for yall to try out yourself.

Well this week it seems as though almost all of the people we were teaching have pretty much fell off the face of the earth and we haven’t been able to meet with them or even get a hold of them. It’s no Bueno. But we were able to find some really cool people as well. The future looks promising. We met this guy who is a professional pianist and we went over and taught him and we took the hymn book over and let him play some of the songs and he totally tore it apart. He would look at the page and then turn around and play the song back to us and he made it so awesome. He is really good. As we were talking to him he said some good things he is a very outgoing person and he got talking and he said something that really stood out to me. "life is to short and god is too great to be scared" I love that. that little quote has been giving me a lot of motivation and giving me drive to be confident and bold.

love you all be safe. send mail.

Man oh Man the days are flying by. We got down to business this week.

We had been trying to meet with this part member family in the ward for like months and finally we got in with them this week. It was so awesome because the wife is not a member and she is so interested. When we first knocked on their door a month or so ago she answered and talked with us. And this week she told us that the night before that happened that she had prayed to god asking for guidance as to how she could get back into going to a church and what church she needed to be going to. When we met with her she had already been reading the book of Mormon and had been watching a TV show about joseph smith that is on but I guess. but she is so prepared and so ready. It’s great. I have met with them twice and I love them like my own family.

It got way warm this week, the sun came out to say hello to us and it brought its friend warm weather. If am so glad to it is about time. Yesterday it was so nice that there is near to nothing that could’ve wiped the smile off of my face. I love the warm weather and riding my bike in it just feels so good.

We have been meeting with this guy named Julius that a member in our ward actually brought him to us. He is such a great guy another one of them that if love so much. We taught him the plan of salvation this week and the spirit was so strong. You could just see it make sense and you see the spirit testify to him that it was true and this pure happiness come over him.

Elder Quintin L. Cook came and spoke to our mission and the Atlanta mission on Saturday that was a really cool experience to have. He had Elder parker who is area 70 over some of Georgia and he spoke as well. And this guy was awesome. has this big black guy that spoke with so much enthusiasm and energy that I just wanted to stand up and scream HALELUJIAH!! he got me so pumped up and what he said was really good. he gave us a lot of things to do to work more with members to help our investigators. Elder Cook was amazing as well. he talked about the process of assigning missionaries to their missions and that each of us are exactly where we are supossed to be. he talked as well about faith. and how important it is. he told us that we needed to strengthen our faith and that if we aimed and did what we could to strengthen our faith and put our trust in god that we would be able to witness miracles and be able to see our faith become stronger and stronger. and we would see the holy ghost workwith those we are teaching even more prominatley. so cool.

I love you all so much thank you for the support. be safe.

Hola La famillia!

Things have been great here in the sandy plains ward. We have been getting down to business and really meeting a lot of solid people.

Last week I had said that we got into a bash well we actually had another appointment with these young gentlemen and it went so much better. We set a good foundation for the meeting and we taught them the plan of salvation. They ate it up. They had already believed some of what we said but some things like the spirit world and the three kingdoms of glory they hadn’t heard of but they really loved what we had to say about it. It was amazing as we talked with them and testified about it you could really see the spirit testify to them that the words we spoke were true way cool experience.

We met this cool old guy tracting late at night and he wasn’t too interested but he said some things that really touched my life forever I won’t ever forget. He said to us there are two rules he lives his life by and if we follow these two simple rules then all else will be good. And then he told us the rules were Be yourself and tell the truth. It was so simple yet so powerful to me.

sorry not too much time this week but in love you all so very much thank you be safe.

Be yourself and tell the truth.
