Well holy smokes happy New Year everyone!!

This week was one of the best weeks we have had in the longest time. We got down to work. So this week we met with our investigator Bucky. He has been some real tough times and we had a really powerful lesson with him on the plan of salvation and gods awareness for all of us. The spirit was strong you could reach out and just cut it with a knife. We taught the lesson and then we invited him to be baptized as well. He was teary eyed and smiled and said yes. He had been waiting for us to ask. It’s been so cool to see the change that has come upon him. He used to just sit and listen quietly whenever we would come over but now he is all smiles and talks to us and is engaged and happy in what we are talking about. It’s been so great.

Yesterday at church we had a member come to church and she brought her boyfriend to church and he had a worn book of Mormon in his hand. We got talking with him and come to find out he has been investigating the church for a while now on his own. And so asked us to come by his home this week and begin teaching him the lessons. We asked him what he wanted to gain from meeting with us, and he looked at his girlfriend and said I want the glow and spirit that she has, and that everyone here at church has. There is something in my life that is missing and I believe this is the it is." yeah I had no clue what to say but almighty then we will be at your house on Tuesday then. I am so pumped.

We were out tracting and on this one road we had 2 or 3 house each tell us that we should not go to the house that was at the end of the road because it was really sketchy and not safe. So of course naturally we had to go down and knocked on the door. And this nice guy named Donnie came out. You could tell there might have been some things going on. But he was so nice and he actually asked us for a pamphlet. We were able to share the book of Mormon with him and he wanted his kids to hear about it and we gave him some things for his kids to read. We are also going back to just check in on him here and there to help them out at all. It was cool. He was way nice and probably the only one on the street that would benefit and actually listen to us, and Satan was really working hard to keep us from him.

I love yall too much. It is sad to hear that the Steelers lost but let’s not dwell on the past because next year when I play quarterback for them I am going to restore them back to their former glory as champions.

Have a great week. Mind your P's and Q's!

Love Elder Trevor Ross
